This is your biggest mindset shift. When you go into an open house, you are not there to sell the home. That’s it. Period. Mic drop. I can stop this right now! But here’s what it is: when you walk into—many agents—when they walk into open houses, all they’re thinking is “okay, how am I going to sell this home?” “What are the features that I need to know in this house that’s going to help me get a buyer for this house?” That’s not what you’re doing. Your biggest mindset shift has to be when you walk into an open house “how do I build my pipeline?” I am not there to sell the home. Guys, it is so imperative that you get this because your whole mindset will shift. I am not there to sell the home. I am there to build a connection. I am there to build my pipeline.
